Season 2025‑2026
Hockey should be accessible to every child—full stop. Our Tuition Assistance Fund offers need‑based support so no Junior Polar Bear has to miss a season due to cost.
How It Works
- Submit a confidential request to the MCYH President (president@mcyh.org).
- The Scholarship Committee—President, Registrar, and Treasurer—reviews applications on a rolling basis.
- You’ll receive a decision via email, usually within two weeks.
Awards typically cover up to 50 % of tuition and do not include USA Hockey/MEAHA fees.
What to Send
Email the following details (no income documents required):
- Skater Name(s) & Division (LTPH, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U)
- Years in MCYH
- Number of children in your household skating with MCYH
- Amount of tuition assistance requested
- Brief description of financial hardship (a few sentences)
- Any gear or other needs
All information is kept strictly confidential and deleted after review.
Giving Back
Families who receive assistance are encouraged (not required) to volunteer—team parent roles, event help, or fundraising—to strengthen our community for everyone.
Deadlines & Notes
- Apply early. Funds are limited each year.
- Approved applicants will not incur late fees.
- You may apply even if already registered for 2025‑2026.
